When is the best time to sell a property?
Moving home requires careful planning and isn’t a decision that should be made lightly. But, lifestyle is a driving force for change: the pandemic has proven this. Many are now looking for more space, city-living is less of a priority, which is why some are leaving urban areas.
However, despite this, Nathan says that urban living has made a comeback. Even in the uncertainty of the pandemic, people were still buying and homes were selling – more so than many predicted! The stamp duty holiday clearly was not the only motivator for people to move.
Truthfully though, the best time to sell depends on your individual circumstances. This includes your financial situation, lifestyle, personal status (e.g. employed etc.)… You need to consider all this to decide when is the right time for you.
