While property websites like Zoopla and Rightmove are important, you can only get so much from them. Choose an estate agent with invaluable local knowledge. 

They’ll have seen how much similar properties in the area have gone for to help you set the right price. They can also help you navigate busy, sensitive markets. They’ll be able to see the full timeline of your sale, as they’ve done this before. Moving isn’t something most of us do often, so it’s not our area of expertise. However, it is an estate agent’s.
